Gary Gershon worked for IBM in Systems Engineering, management, and headquarters positions for 15 years, and then spent two years as a Senior Manager with KPMG Peat Marwick in NYC running their workflow and imaging practice. He has been an independent consultant for over 10 years. Gary holds the AIIM MIT designation and has presented at the AIIM Conference (on WebDAV), and other conferences and meetings. John Orth, CDIA+ has more than 30 years of experience in the field of medical imaging, electrocardiology, and patient monitoring systems and their implementation in US hospitals. He has been an active participant in the creation of the DICOM standard and familiar with the new IHE and XDS standards to interconnect the wide variety of existing digital medical records, PACS and EMR systems. John also has many years of experience with the FDA regulations and certification requirements for quality procedures. His most recent experience has been with the automation of clinical billing and payments using image analysis of EOBs, and electronic check processing.
